Preparedness Resources

Aug 22, 2022

Times are a bit trying right now. We are facing uncharted territory. Many families that thrive on a highly plant-based diet, are concerned about the inability to “stock up” on enough fresh foods. We have created a list of “pantry” items that can be used as part of a “preparedness” plan. Of course, fresh is always best, but this is a time when we will all need to remain flexible and do the best we can with what is available to us.

We have also included a video as a guide to supplements for acute illness and links to some additional resources for support.

Stock The Pantry

This list is meant to be a guide as to what to have on hand in a situation that may warrant social distancing. It is meant to sustain your family, should you be unable to get fresh groceries. Remember to be sensitive to the needs of your neighbors and others in your community during trying times. Of course this should always apply, but especially during a pandemic. We are all in this together. Try not to give in to panic and avoid unnecessary stockpiling and hoarding.
